Engaging Research
In my practice, I value the tradition of a practitioner actively engaged in their own research. The pursuit of knowledge is grounded in advancing the overall field and bringing it back to the therapy office to help patient’s lives.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the field of phenomenological/philosophical psychopathology, which is to say that I’m interested in how our core aspects of selfhood show up within and are impacted by mental illness. One way to study this is to listen to the firsthand lived experience of those communities. Currently, this centers around researching dissociation and complex grief.
